All the glam with the elegance of timeless beauty

As wedding photographers and videographers, we often have the privilege of witnessing and documenting love stories unfold in the most enchanting settings. Kristy and Nick's wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park in New Jersey was nothing short of a fairy tale brought to life. From the moment we stepped into the grandeur of the venue, we knew this day would be filled with elegance, sophistication, and timeless romance.

The day began with the gentle hum of excitement as Kristy and her bridal party prepared for the festivities ahead. Kristy's radiant smile illuminated the room as she was pampered and prepped, her glamorous makeup and immaculate waves enhanced her natural beauty. Her Blanche wedding gown, hugged her figure flawlessly, exuding grace and sophistication. It looked like it was made just for her. When she stepped out of her dressing room in her wedding dress for he first time, one of her bridesmaid's jaw dropped. She said (and I quote) "You look like AI!" Which incited a whole conversation about how that could be the new best compliment you could give someone. I think it will catch on!

We walked the short distance the grooms suite (which by the way has a full bar and gorgeous light streaming through the doors to the outside second story patio). Nick donned a classic Vera Wang tuxedo, epitomizing dapper charm and timeless style. We could tell he was excited, waiting anxiously to see his beautiful bride.

One of the most touching moments of the day was when Nick received a thoughtful, personalized gift from Kristy. As he opened the box to reveal a pair of David Yerman cufflinks accompanied by a beautifully written card, his eyes shimmered with emotion and his face lit up with a smile. She specifically chose the designer David Yerman because of the special meaning it had to Nick. It was a poignant reminder of the deep love and connection they shared, a sentiment that would echo throughout the day.

On the second-story patio overlooking the garden and venue entrance, Kristy and Nick shared a private moment for their first look. As Kristy slowly walked to him, Nick's breath caught in his throat. In that fleeting instant, time stood still as Nick admired his beautiful bride and their shared emotion set the tone for the magical day ahead.

We had all strategically planned for plenty of time for their portraits together, which was very important to Kristy and Nick. We captured the essence of their energy together in their romantic, authentic and dramatic portraits while utilizing all the beautiful areas around the venue.

The ceremony was a celebration of love, unity, and promise. Against the backdrop of beautiful florals and shimmering chandeliers, Kristy and Nick exchanged vows, their words a testament to their unwavering commitment.

Guests mingled during cocktail hour, savoring delectable hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails. The air buzzed with anticipation for the festivities to come.

As the stars lit up the night sky, inside Kristy and Nick took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. They moved together in a beautifully choreographed dance amidst the clouds that were billowing at their feet.

The dances with their parents was a poignant tribute to the love and support that had guided them throughout their lives. Tears glistened in their eyes as they shared a tender embrace, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.

Thoughtful speeches and heartfelt toasts echoed throughout the room, each word a reminder of the impact Kristy and Nick had on those around them. When Kristy’s dad handed her a blue sucker, it was like a flashback of all the memories they shared together and how she would always be his princess.

As the night unfolded, the energy on the dance floor soared to new heights. Guests laughed, danced, and reveled in the joy of the occasion, their spirits lifted by the contagious love that filled the air. The dance floor pulsated with life, each moment captured in the lens of our cameras, preserving memories that would last a lifetime.

Later into the night, with champagne bottles in hand, they stood before the white-pillared facade of the venue, spraying champagne into the night sky. It was a moment of pure, unadulterated joy, a fitting end to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
